A LESSON IN FOUNDER COMMS AND COMMUNITY BUILDING fun fact: if you had $100k worth of xpl 1 month ago, you’d now have $1k all this while plasma team almost went mia from twitter and stopped bullposting i believe in plasma as a product, but the selloffs were larger than bera, and compared to bera there have been no clear comms from the team for a week. while there’s a lot of going on the chain, small actions like these (no transparent comms) can slowly break community trust. on the other hand, if we look at berachain, even though many things went wrong, @SmokeyTheBera and the team have shown consistent communication and admitted to prior mistakes. during the recent balancer exploit events, bera has demonstrated: > saving users’ bags instead of looking *decentralized* > quick reaction > being in touch with their community i believe these are the reasons why bera still exists and the people who stayed didn’t leave earlier. moral of the story: just speak to your community guys, it will always pay off
