It's extremely clear to me that the next decade will be a continuous calibration between Closed and Open stacks.
From global military/trade alliances (WTO, EU, NATO) to single individuals (privacy, self-custody), we are witnessing everyone prioritizing sovereignty and looking for flexible model to collaborate with others without sacrificing their privacy.
This is why I am so passionate about ZK (more broadly) and @zksync (more specifically). Because ZK makes the Open vs Closed dilemma irrelevant. You can still have a Closed system (Prividium) but seamlessly partner with others (ZK interop) and use an incorruptible ledger as the single source of Truth (Ethereum).

I make the case that Ethereum and ZK are literally civilizational technologies that will define a very big part of the global equilibrium in the near future.
